Recent research by the Centre for Economic and Business Research (Cebr) has found that overheads for small businesses, like B&Bs, have risen by about a quarter (23%) in the last five years. It also suggests that rising costs are having a dangerous effect on independent accommodation providers. The vast majority (78%) identify rising costs as the most significant threat to their businesses this year.
